Autumn Lakeland Engagement Session | Florida Wedding Photographer

Nicole and Chandler wanted a Lakeland engagement session in the middle of autumn. With warm tones, cooler weather, and an incredibly fun couple, this session really was perfect. The soft light of autumn makes for stunning photos and a really beautiful day. I’m so excited to capture their wedding next year at Paradise Cove.

Sessions like this are truly so special and I love being part of a pre-wedding session. There are so many reasons to have a session before your wedding but the biggest one is to get comfortable with your photographer before the big day. Though, this couple had no problem with getting cozy in front of the camera…

Spending time with Nicole and Chandler was a dream. It felt just like a date. They were so natural and easygoing the entire time. We spent the entire time dancing, laughing, and snapping some photos, of course. It really let things flow and I was able to use prompts to guide them through actions as opposed to overly posing them the entire session. I think the authentic nature of the day really shines in the photos.

And can we have a moment for Nicole’s stunning dress. It’s a backless, floor length gown from ASTR the label. I truly believe that clothing ties a session together because it sets the tone for the overall vibe. And for a fall photo session, this dress hit the nail on the head. It’s a perfect combo of all the fall colors while still being light and flowy.

Nothing beats a Lakeland engagement session in the fall. It really brings everything to the table and sparks so much joy because of the beautiful weather, warmer tones, and overall fall vibes.
